Woolworth Building

Redevelopment of the iconic 935,000 square foot office building in Manhattan’s Financial District. Acquired by Witkoff in 1998 and carefully restored, this New York City landmark property was the world’s tallest building until 1930. Witkoff worked with landmarks on the residential entitlements and was able to lease-up the base of the building to office tenants as well as create a below grade parking garage. After successfully vacating the tower to permit residential redevelopment and the redesign of the building’s core, Witkoff subsequently sold the tower to a residential developer in 2012.
